About The Naturescaper
The Naturescaper was born from a vision to celebrate and protect our natural environment.
Sebastian is passionate about working with natural, locally sourced materials and incorporating indigenous plants that reflect the unique character of the Australian landscape. His goal is to create gardens that are not only visually stunning but also purposeful—supporting local wildlife, fostering biodiversity, and enhancing ecological balance.
Sebastian Blacket
Sebastian is a fully qualified landscaper. After completing his apprenticeship in early 2025, he created The Naturescaper to hone his vision of developing outdoor spaces that feel more natural, more beautiful, and better for the planet. "Our goal is to create landscapes that work with nature, not against it. So you can enjoy a garden that’s sustainable, low-maintenance, and full of life."
Sebastian's dedication to his chosen industry is evident. His hard work, determination, leadership qualities and strong craftmanship skills led to him receiving several awards during his apprenticeship including:
-
Master Builders Victoria Apprentice of the Year 2025, State Apprentice of the Year Winner, along with the State Apprentice of the Year Craftsperson Award
-
Holmesglen Institute, 2025 Apprentice of the year finalist in addition to outstanding student award.
